EveryCon 2012( Russia, Moscow) and my 11th Doctor( and my kissogram) triumph
Well, passed five days after Geek convention - EveryCon 2012( Russia, Moscow, 8th september)  in which organization I took part.
It was difficult, but we coped with an objective and tried to make a Big Holiday to all fans of their favorite Universes such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who( I made for our stand Adipose plush and we had the ONE full-size Tardis in whole Russia!), My Little Pony, Mass Effect, babylon 5 and etc.
Yes, you won't believe me, but my Kissogram costume, which I wanted and want to make it as screen accurate, as possible, wasn't successful.
Because the vest was wrong, all pouches on a belt was dressed all on wrong side, Police badges were all wrong at all and bowler hat was wrong too.. I was so upset :(
But, image of characters was successful wonderfully well!
Then, my groom( and future husband) was the Eleventh Doctor and fangirls didn't give him pass all over Con..
Certain THE BIGGEST thanks to next_matt_smit for original PS burgundy shirt and screen-accurate S5 boots!
If you didn't help us, my Doctor couldn't become a peculiar star at a Con!

And so - Show must go on!

First of - Sorry for the bad quality photos. We had a photocorner with professional  photographer where we all had a beautiful and tremendous photos! I will upload them as soon, as they will be in con's photo gallery.

We had many fantastic "Doctor Who" costumes.

Lovely Raggedy 11th Doctor - he and his crew made this "Blue Sexy" for their fan-film and bring her to our Con.

And my friends stunning Clockwork Droid

And him again

11th with apple face( Yes, he stole my costume prop! :)) Hahh, for real - I gave him an apple to wash it in man toilet and then eat :)

Gotcha! I am trying to correct a wig and mask, because they go down sometimes.

11th with cowboy hat( Spoiler-s! We made his costume from S5 "Time of an Angels" and "Flesh and Stone")

That's our Doctor Who stand and if you can notice - there is me in my kissogram :)

And this is Prize Ceremony at the end of Con. Pompadour and me as Amy Pond Kissogram

And this is me - I collect my hair for bowler hat and was caught by photographer. A lot of people( except my mom!) said, that I am looks like Karen/Amy  from series 7, but I am laugh so much - all think that I can be "copy/double" of Karen :))

Thank you for the many photos you posted. I love to see fandom in other countries. You mentioned several problems with your Amy outfit, but I think it looks fantastic!!!

How big was the con? Can you estimate how many people attended? Also where was it held? What sort of place was it? From some of the photos, it looks like a historic building.

Sorry for so many questions, but I am curious! :)

I agree with Leslie. The Kiss-O-Gram costume looks great! Don't worry about things not being 100 percent screen accurate because you look fantastic. I also want to know where the event was held and is your friend, Eleven, related to the "Raggedy Doctor"? Because they look a lot alike! Maybe it's just me. And the Babylon 5 Kosh looks great too! I never see anything for Babylon 5 these days and loved that show. I have two tattoos from Babylon 5 that's how much I loved that show. No Doctor Who tattoos yet, but I have one planned. Thank you for sharing your photos.

There were some B5 costumers at Dragoncon. An awesome Lando was at the Yule Ball. :) His wife created the whole outfit and also a male Tardis outfit for a friend of theirs. I saw him (the Tardis guy) in the parade and at the Yule Ball; but can't remember if they came and did the Prydon Academy photoshoot afterwards. For a long time in the 90s there was a B5 track at D*C, but that track is long gone. The programming for it was added to the classic SF TV track, I think.

Your cosplay is really great! And I adore your hair, 'cause I always wanted to be as ginger as you. I had to use a wig for my Amy Pond cosplay :(

Btw, I'm from Saint-Petersburg, and I'm really impressed by the work you've all done on EveryCon! I really wanted to go to Moscow but I couldn't because of my study...
And yay for your Doctor - he's really amazing :)

Oh, thanks to all for kind and warm words!
We tried so much for all funs here. Trying to replicate as screen accurate, as possible.
We spent a LOT of money, but it worth of it :)

Yes, I mentioned several problems with my outfit - but it all can sipmly repair and I need only time. I must get just another and correct vest, bowler hat and again police badges.
Now, I will trying to be more accurate, as I can - her vest has the cevlar inserts..

So, now answers for Leslie:
- How big was the con?
Convention was quite big as it was led the first time.
- Can you estimate how many people attended?
Yes, I can. About 400-500 people.
- Also where was it held? What sort of place was it? From some of the photos, it looks like a historic building.

And you're right. It was held in historic building - Culture House, or in russian( transcription) - " Dom Kulturi".
This building was actively used at the time of the Soviet Union. There are still red stars and posters. This building was used( and still use!) as the leisure center.
"and is your friend, Eleven, related to the "Raggedy Doctor"? "
No, my groom is Eleven in harris tweed jacket and our friend is "Raggedy Doctor" :)

fluffysquirrely, oh, lovely! I think, I saw your costume( from Wedding of River Song, right?) photos from Starcon. Really nice :) I am planning to make all of Amy Pond costumes, but I need only time to collect all things I need :)
Little_Squirrelfluffysquirrely on September 14th, 2012 12:35 pm (UTC)
Yeah, that was me, Amy from StarCon :)
I really love all Amy Pond costumes, but I think I got to cosplay Clara/Oswin 'cause my friends say I look a lot like her (which isn't quite true :D). At least I don't have to wear a wig!

Are you planning to go to St. Petersburg for the next year's StarCon? It would be so awesome! You make a lovely Amy, really :3

Oh, thanks a lot for all your awesome words, girls! :)

fluffysquirrely,I don't know what I will have at this time. I will think seriously about visiting Starcon next year, but I really don't know.
And I have some big Doctor Who cosplay projects which isn't only for me, so, I really don't know. Sorry :(
